DEFTER
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This page describes information used by your organization through DEFTER for member administration, contribution and fee records, and optional communications.
Information and purpose
Authorized staff may maintain names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, membership information, notes, balances, schedules, communication preferences, and opt-out records. Staff accounts, message history, and administrative audit events help operate and protect the service.
Organization-specific access
Member and financial records are restricted to active accounts assigned to the organization. Admins manage staff access and organization branding. Operational settings are also available to authorized Staff. These information pages do not display the member directory or private financial records.
Providers and sharing
Database, authentication, and hosting providers process information needed to operate DEFTER. A configured messaging provider and mobile carriers process destination numbers and message content when live messaging is enabled. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data or consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging service providers may process that information only as needed to operate and deliver the messaging service.
Cookies, retention, and your choices
Authentication cookies maintain staff sign-in sessions. Records remain until an authorized retention or deletion process is carried out; opting out of texts does not automatically delete balances, audit history, or suppression records.
Contact your organization to request access, corrections, or deletion and to discuss its recordkeeping practices. Access controls help protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
For communication preferences, see the Messaging Terms.
